Brad Burd's practice is focused on the pursuit of subrogation recovery claims for insurance carriers and self-insured clients around the country, and internationally, in matters arising from construction defects, natural disasters, explosions, fires, equipment defects and general commercial disputes. He also handles the defense of commercial and product liability cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Brad has broad expertise in handling business and commercial disputes through final resolution, whether by verdict or settlement. He has successfully prosecuted several subrogation matters that resulted in multi-million dollar settlements and awards for his clients. In addition, he has broad experience defending product liability claims, representing clients in class action litigation and handling various appeals.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law (J.D. 2002) and Miami (OH) University (B.S., 1999), Brad is a member of the Illinois Bar. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
