Geoffrey Waguespack’s practice centers on the defense of employment discrimination and construction cases as well as general litigation in federal and state court. He has handled matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the Illinois Court of Claims. His practice includes successful appeals before the Illinois Supreme Court. In addition, Geoffrey provides advice concerning matters involving the Consumer Products Safety Commission.

Geoffrey is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He writes the Employment Law column for the IDC Quarterly and currently serves as an assistant editor for the publication.

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D. 2003) and the College of William and Mary (B.A. 1997), Geoffrey is a member of the Illinois bar and the federal bar. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Geoffrey served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Morton Denlow, Presiding Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a research staff attorney for the Appellate Court of Illinois, Second District.
