Biography

Matthew Heiting’s practice is focused on the defense of business owners, contractors, trucking entities, and others subjected to construction, commercial, transportation, premises liability, and product liability claims. He has extensive experience working in our state and federal court systems.  His defense experience includes pre-suit negotiation, discovery, arbitration, mediation and trial.  Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked in a similar practice in a defense firm for over six years and took countless depositions, participated in numerous court hearings, negotiated settlements of high exposure matters and tried cases.

Matthew graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with degrees in Political Science and Social Change and Development.  He received his law degree in 2013 from Valparaiso Law.  He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and son.
