Biography

Bill Bingle's practice focuses primarily on the defense of contractors, property owners, trucking firms and business owners in all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts. He also represents businesses in commercial disputes including those involving fraud, contract, and business tort claims. Before joining Cremer Spina, Bill worked as an Associate at Eastman and Smith in Toledo, Ohio.

Bill graduated from the University of Notre Dame (B.S., 2004) and the University of Toledo College of Law (J.D., 2012, summa cum laude). He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Ohio and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Southern District of Illinois, and the Northern District of Ohio, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Bill is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Representative Matters
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of a manufacturer against an employee alleging that his injuries were aggravated on the job by demonstrating that the injuries pre-existed the alleged occurrence;

  • Secured dismissal in 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in favor of a manufacturer against an employee alleging age and disability discrimination;

  • Bill regularly defends businesses in construction, transportation, premises liability, and general tort matters.
